To reassign a bug using Microsoft Project
If the bug is in a Microsoft Project file, you can use Microsoft Project to reassign the bug.
Steps

Open the project file containing the bug you want to reassign. |

Locate the task row containing the bug you want to reassign. |

In the Resource Names column for the bug, enter the name of the team member you want to assign the bug to. |

4 |
On the Team menu, click Publish Changes. This will commit the change to the work item database. |

5 |
On the File menu, choose Save. |
