Create Infrastructure Architecture |
- Create a logical datacenter diagram. Work with operations, if applicable, to understand the deployment environment. Create logical servers in the logical datacenter to reflect the physical environment. Validate the logical datacenter diagram.
- In the application diagram, match the settings of the applications to the physical elements necessary to support them.
|
2 |
Map the Solution Architecture |
- Map the pieces of the application diagram to the logical datacenter diagram. Check the mapping to be sure it is correct. Validate the application diagram against the logical datacenter diagram.
- Make changes to the application and logical datacenter diagrams to bring them in line.
|
3 |
Adjust Solution Architecture |
- As new software subsystems are identified, determine if changes to the infrastructure architecture are required.
- Queue up any operations center or hardware deployment configuration changes that need to be made. Be sure that the changes are required before making such a request.
